Aman Reservations: Going Global
Amanresorts' new, worldwide reservations and information service begins Sept 1. Based in Singapore, the 24-hour, seven-days-a-week service will be operated by Amanresorts staff, who will take reservations and respond to resort and travel information queries.

Amanwana Direct
Guests can now fly direct to Amanwana from Bali in a Cessna Caravan floatplane. The aircraft, operated by Travira Air, lands on the bay in front of Amanwana. Flying time is 65 minutes, and guests need arrive at the airport in Denpasar only 30 minutes before the flight. The 675-hsp-turboprop jet engine can carry up to eight people comfortably, with a baggage allowance of 15kg per person. Flights depart Bali Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Tee Time
Amanusa guests enjoy a priority reservations system at the Bali Golf and Country Club, located alongside the resort. Guests may sign all charges to their Amanusa account. Amanusa will also arrange tee-off times at the island's other two championship courses, the Nirwana Bali Golf Club and the Bali Handara Country Club. On the Thaiisland of Phuket, Amanpuri guests have five courses to choose from, including the Blue Canyon Country Club. Amanpuri's corporate membership give guests priviledged access to the member's only club.

Aman Romance
Hotel Bora Bora's sentimental ceremonies give guests all the rituals and romance of a Polynesian wedding. Marriage of Hearts includes a private, two-hour sunset sail aboard a catamaran. During the cruise, a non-binding ceremoni is performed, in Tahitian and in English, by the captain. Fragrant flowers crowns are offere. Canapes and French champagne are served.
Memorable, if unofficial, wedding services are also available at Amanpulo. The island resort's sentimental ceremonies are performed by a Filipino wedding officer in one of three idyllic settings: by the beach, poolside or on a sunset cruise.

Turtle Watching
Nesting time for green and hawksbill turtles continues through August in the Philippine island of Pamalican, home to Amanpulo. Guests are invited to watch, from a judicious distance, while the hatchlings scramble from sand to sea.
