La Corona de Pagsanjan Resort & Training Center in Laguna recently hosted a two-day teambuilding for the hosts and production staff of the sports show Game Plan.
Led by hosts former national swimmer Akiko Thomson, adventure racer-triathlete Patricia Chiongbian, and former basketball and football player Rovilson Fernandez, the Game Plan crew gamely accepted the challenges posed by the resort’s Ropes challenge course as part of their teambuilding conducted by veteran workshop facilitator Lito Cinco.
The two-day adventure teambuilding had Thomson, Chiongbian, and Fernandez leading their team in completing both the low and high element events such as the Blindman’s Trail, Low V, Tire Pole, Spider’s Web, Tension Traverse, Team Wall, and the more exciting and psychologically intimidating Slide for Life, High Y, and the Cat Walk events, the last two featuring free falls from 45 feet high.
According to the participants, it was a great learning experience for the whole team, not to mention the fun and adventure part.
"We did things that we thought we could not do and completed them with the help of one another," said Chiongbian, seconded by Thomson and Fernandez.
