Our senses were overwhelmed by the sight and sound of dancing lights, air dancers, fire, ballroom and belly dancers, drumbeaters, mimes, gorgeous Club Mwah show girls, and an ultra-extravagant party to signal the grand opening of the newest lifestyle hub in the metropolis—A. Venue.
With Studio Technik providing video coverage and the able support of Asia United Bank, the Mardi Gras cum Las Vegas themed event gathered the best of art and music in a fascinating lifestyle evening attended by high-profile movers and shakers. Welcoming the A-listers to this unveiling were Antel Group of Companies president Elena Jao, marketing director and developer Felino Lao, and project director Nancy Coo. The spacious and cozy events mall located at the Antel Lifestyle City, along Makati Avenue, opened with a fashion parade of Oliver Tolentino’s holiday collection and a gyrating dance number from the Hotlegs as flowing wine, Amoroso Brandy, and a sumptuous buffet spread catered by Contempo were served to the long list of VIPs and beautiful party people. Among those spotted having a great time listening to diva Bituin Escalante, George Yang, and Overtone were indefatigable Makati congressman Teddy Boy Locsin with wife Louie, and lovely Makati congresswoman Abby Binay Campos with hubby Luis.
With the irreverent and witty Johnny Litton emceeing the event, the evening was capped with a celebratory toast and a fireworks display including airline tickets raffled off by captain Ely Tabora’s Zest Air. What a spectacular night of great food, endless partying and foot-stomping music!
