Nothing spells an amazing summer escapade than a healthy weekend in Boracay. With its inviting waters, thriving marine life and priceless sunsets, it’s not surprising how it got its reputation and became one of the best beaches in the world.

But the whole Boracay experience is nothing without the perfect abode – and nothing spells perfection than Boracay Garden Resort.

Formerly the Korean-owned Hotel Seraph, Boracay Garden Resort rests on a two-hectare property right at the heart of Station 2. What’s better than the location is the fact that it is newly-acquired by the prestigious Boracay Regency Group.

“I got the resort by accident. I wasn’t really looking for any new property to develop in the island,” says Henry Chusuey, Chairman of the Boracay Regency Group. “I was a bit surprised when the Korean owner came to see me late last year and proposed to sell his hotel.”

With its prime location, Chusuey saw this as “an offer too hard to resist.” So in December 2009, the resort was purchased and was renamed Boracay Garden Resort.

The perfect sanctuary

Traveling on a budget doesn’t necessarily mean depriving yourself of the good stuff.

Though a lot assume that the more money you spend, the better service you get, but that’s not how it is with Boracay Garden. The fact that amenities such as high speed Wi-Fi Internet, cable television and individually controlled air-conditioning are already given, some wouldn’t even ask for more.

But Boracay Garden proves that elegance and luxury can always be attained without shelling out a lot.

Imagine yourself standing in a room with the perfect blend of the Eastern and Western cultures with so much sophistication. Think of oriental walls reminiscent of Chinese and Korean ancestry adorned with early European-inspired pieces of furniture.

And when you’re in the mood to relax, each room also comes with a bath tub and a separate shower area to help you loosen up after an active day at the beach.

You don’t have to worry about security, either. Each room is protected by a unique key card system, as well as a safety deposit box to store all your prized possessions.

“Reasonable rates, excellent food, quality service, prime location and happy employees make for a successful hotel business,” Chusuey proudly revealed. “We’ve been operating in Boracay for the past twelve years using the tried and tested formula.”

Healthy living

Staying healthy is nothing when your sole intake consists of junk food and greasy cuisine.

Indulge in their specialties such as fresh shitake mushroom, seafood crepe with white wine cream sauce, and char-grilled lapu-lapu fillet in saffron juice; and find yourself wanting more. Don’t worry; everything served in their Garden Café restaurant is soulfully good for you.

“Only the freshest ingredients are used in all the dishes,” says Food and Beverage Manager Mario Gatmaitan in a statement. “We take pride in preparing healthy food, cocktails and drinks, but we also consider the needs and requests of guests who are not really diet conscious.”

And if you’re aiming to lose a couple of pounds, just go to the resort’s gym and fitness center. It has all the equipment you need, as well as professional gym trainers, to help you stay in shape and continue with your fitness routine even when you’re far from home.

The fact that the resort has a big swimming pool is already enough to stay healthy. After all, swimming isn’t just a sport. It’s an exercise to help you lose weight, while keeping your heart and lungs in good condition.

Value for money

If the fact that the prices are so reasonable for you to get a reservation, wait until you hear the better news. Boracay Garden Resort ties up with South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) to bring you the hottest deals for summer.

For as low as P8,406.00 per person for triple occupancy and P8,994.00 per person for double occupancy, you will be able to experience Boracay for three days with daily breakfast and dinner, sea and land transfers, and a roundtrip airfare from June 16 to September 30, 2010.

SEAIR, being the nation’s second oldest airline, has the reputation of being the country’s premiere leisure airline. It has been serving key tourist destinations since 1995, and has the longest record of uninterrupted service to Boracay direct via Caticlan.

“We have the longest history of continuous service to Caticlan, and we are the most experienced airline serving that destination,” says Patrick Tan, SEAIR’s Vice President for Commercial Affairs.

Boracay Garden, of Boracay Regency fame, makes it certain that your stay in their resort will be truly pleasurable and unforgettable.

“The partnership with Boracay Garden Resort is part of a long standing relationship with the Boracay Regency group of resorts,” Tan shares. “Through the partnership, we increase the convenience we provide to our clients.”

With two of the biggest and trusted names offering affordable packages, you’re bound to enjoy an exciting adventure in the island while living with world-class facilities.
