An indication that the economy is improving is the increase in
reservations for European vacations, travel industry sources said. A
check with the main European wholesalers point out that the several
itineraries for Central Europe are already fully booked. This shows a
bouncing back from the fall of as much as 40 percent off last year.
The prices of package tours and had gone down with the welcome assist from
several airlines giving lower fares than in previous years in a scrimmage for a
share of the travel market.
One other indication is the number of days needed to process a visa ranging
from three days to two weeks dependent upon the country of longest stay or
port of entry in Europe.
One can now enjoy for $1,738 a vacation of seven days of Switzerland,
Austria, France, England, Germany, Holland and Belgium.
Adams Express Travel which specializes in Europe offers 45 choices of
European itineraries on different prices or number of days. For Filipinos,
Lourdes is a must.
The New Europe or Eastern Europe has attracted many reservations of late,
Filipinos are interested and curious about the undiscovered beauty of Hungary,
Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Germany and Russia. Adams Express
Travel included the scenic Austrian Alps and Bavaria for full measure,
departing May 11.
The European vacation can also be timed with a pilgrimage of the Miracle
Sites in Europe and the Holy Land leaving April 25 and May 30.
To choose which itinerary to take can at times be bewildering. Most often the
first timer looks only at the price which is a big mistake. One travels to Europe
not frequently unless one is on business. Adams Express Travel (5361736/37)
therefore is glad to advise would-be European vacationist on how best to enjoy
their vacation for "first-class value at less cost."
