Question NO. 4:

where are best beaches in the Philippines? And why?

Solitude in Siargao island - Antonette Bacol

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE ENCHANTING AND ALLURING BEAUTY OF SIARGAO

ISLAND??

A TWO-HECTARE VIRTUAL PARADISECRYSTAL CLEAR WATER?

WHITE SUGARY SANDS, COCONUT SHADES, COOL WATER.

Crystal clear water?.. sugary white sands, coconut shades, cool water, dirt cheap seafoods, bargain

accommodations and very accessible locations ? all these contribute to make Siargao Island, located off the

northern coast of Surigao del Norte facing the Pacific Ocean, a dream vacation gateway and a perfect

alternative to Boracay Island.

Known for its international wind surfing competition, Siargao Island offers more than just windsurfing but sun, sea

and the enchantment of perfect beach fun with cool Pacific wind and gentle waves lapping at the crystal clear

waters that make holiday goers swim for hours without felling salty and dry.

Guyam Island, a two-hectare virtual paradise where coconut groves and white sugary beach

abound, for lovers of snorkeling, the surrounding coral reefs are simply inviting, with all types of fish in the Pacific

lazily swimming in the cool sea ? parrot fish, box fish, grouper, talakitok and another fish varities in pink, yellow,

blue,green and maroon colors.

Siargao Island is composed of more than 50 islets scattered along the edges of the Pacific Ocean directly facing

Hawaii Islands which is known for its international beaches.

Whale Watching in Sorsogon - Mardy Halcon

I would recommend that a tourist visits sorsogon in bicol and experience interacting with whale sharks or what we locally call

"butanding." nowhere else in the world will you find a place where whale sharks -- sometimes up to 50 of them -- swim

together. they are harmless to humans. seeing them is a privilege in itself; interacting/diving/swimming with them is a golden

experience. Sorsogon may not be as popular as palawan or boracay but you will definitely enjoy your stay there: sorsogon has

several beaches (all with white sands) such as the famous rizal beach in gubat, there are man-made water falls, the fantastic

bulusan volcano, the hotspring found in irosin sorsogon (at the foot of bulusan) plus the people are very hospitable, respectful,

and kind. cost-of-living is very inexpensive: fernando's hotel in sorsogon proper charges very reasonable amount. rooms for

rent at the beaches costs much, much lesser.Besides, i'm sure said tourist wouldn't want to miss the taste of our very own pili

nut, claimed to be more delicious than almonds.

MACTAN SHANGRI-LA RESORT HOTEL - LEAN TIBIA

THE BEST I HAVE SEEN YET IS IN CEBU.ITS THE MACTAN SHANGRI-LA

RESORT HOTEL.ITS GOT LARGE POOLS AND POOL SIDES ARE SURROUNDED WITH DIFFERENT

TROPICAL TREES.THERE ARE LOTS OF AMENITIES FOR JET SKIING, WIND SURFING, BEACH VOLLEY,

ETC.WHITE SAND BORDERS THE BEACH AND A SMALL ISLAND AMIDST IT ALL.THE ISLAND IS SO

CLOSE THAT YOU CAN SWIM TO IT!REALLY A PARADISE FOR TOURISTS!

Amanpulo, Pearl Farm, and Getafe, Bohol - Venus R. Acasio

1) AMANPULO - Palawan

- white beach and with a beautiful sceneries

- undescribable beauty of such a place

2) PEARL FARM - Samal, Davao City (owned by Florendo)

- white beach and with crystal clear waters

3) (no Name)- located in Getafe, Bohol

- uninhabited white beach and with crystal clear waters

- with beautiful seashells, tiny colorful crabs along the

shore

Eagle Point Anilo Batangas -pmirren

Its close to Manila (no connecting flights necessary)A private mini

bus from Manila will get you there in under 3 hours.

Its beautiful, clean, and has crystal clear water for diving swimming

etc./

The accomodations are to international standards.

We liked it.

Palawan - Aissa Olivan

I could say that the best beaches in the Philippines is in Palawan. I

guess its not only because it is clean, but because the people there

really care about the environment. They preserve nature...trees,

fishes, corals, seas, etc.It is one of the few places that I could see

a lot of fishes, by the seashore, and they actually swim side by side

with people. And their beaches are not cluttered with garbage. The

people are very nice & very friendly. So, you guys out there who want

to rest & relax, I would recommend you go to Palawan.ITS REALLY THE

BEST!

Buug in Zamboanga Sur & Midway White Beach in Iligan City - Maris

Trinidad

The best beaches in the Philippines are the beaches that haven't been

commercially sold out yet.

There is an islet near the municipality of Buug in Zamboanga Sur. It is

around 2 hours away from Pagadian City. From the main land it takes

about 15 minutes on motor boat to get to the islet. It has white sand

and on one side is agrowth of mangroves. The water is clean and cooly

warm. The islet doesn't have a name.

Midway White Beach in Iligan City is a good place for snorkeling and

sunbathing. True to it's name is has white sand and is midway from

Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City.

A great place for scuba diving and snorkeling are the beaches along

Samburon, also in Iligan City. Different sea flora and fauna could be

found there.

El Nido, Palawan - Jason Baradas

I have been to a lot of beaches here in the Philippines --- Boracay,

Dakak, Pangasinan, La Union, Cebu, Bohol, Bacolod, Iloilo, Zambales,

Camiguin, Davao, Batangas and Cavite (of course during the 1970s!).

But, nothing will beat the beaches of Palawan in El Nido and Paradise

Club.It is pure nature--- non-commercialized and very natural.

I am happy there are still some beaches here in the Philippines that

are preserved (hope the numbers are not dwindling).

Island of Siquijor - Roseller Armirola

the best beaches in the phils can be found in the visayas region... try

visiting the island of Siquijor.... you'll be amazed by it's beauty...

white sand beaches... it's paradise!

Santa Cruz Beach, Zamboanga - Ramon M Lucas

without a doubt the best beach in the phillippines is theone located in

zamboanga city actually near zamboanga city you could go there fromahotel

near city hall of zamboanga city the name of the beach is santa cruz beach

ariva zamboanga

Pagudpod, Ilocos Norte - John Ilao

I think one of the best beaches I've gone to are those in Pagudpod in Ilocos Norte.ithink it's about an hour away from

Laoag - nice wide strips of sand, peaceful and best of all, no congestion like Boracay...

It's a sort of undicovered place (or should I say under-rated) anyway - it's paradise just the same...

Sabang, Camarines Sur - Yuri Boi Blue

Sabang is little shorter to travel than going to Mactan .... it is located in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region ... bus trans is the easiest

to go there ...you can see the wild islands with so much trees and the

shore is too white and so clean ... you can buy fresh seafoods and let them cook by yourselves along the beach ... although, this

is public spot ... the tourists could settle themselves to a fine motels nearby...at the bottom, all of these places are fine and cool

to look at....

Biliran island - Rey Rosales

I would recommend a visit to Biliran island. It's a lovely place located in eastern visayas. It's got prestine beaches, warm

people and good sea food. The sunset is always beautiful and the rich body of sea water in the area is fantastic.Higatangan,

for instance, is terrific place to enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving. And its the best place you can ever enjoy even if you only

have a limited amount of money in the pocket.

Pristine Palawan - Bill & LOrna

Palawan has over a thousand islands of the Philippines'7107 islands. You can fly($120 RT) either to Puerto Princesa(daily)or to

Coron,3or4 times a week(on Busuanga-the northern island group) or take a ship
