SPANISH FOODFEST. Spanish wines and olive oil took
centerstage during the recently concluded First Spanish Food
and Beverage Festival organized by the Spanish Institute of
Foreign Trade at the Rizal Ballroom of the Shangri-La Hotel
Makati.
Over 30 Spanish companies, 15 of them wineries and
manufacturers of brandy, sherry and vermouth, participated in
the event aimed at introducing the wide range of Spanish
products and developing lasting commercial ties with potential
distributors, agents, and buyers.
Aside from its beverages, another product of note is Spanish
