Cruising cross-country - Day Four: Relaxing
in Cebu |

The Cebu Ferries ship reached Cebu City by 6:20
a.m. but we drove the Revo out only at 9:10 a.m.
The loading crew had guided the Revo deep into
the cargo space, blocking our way with countless
empty containers. We boarded the Revo about an
hour after the ship docked, thinking the process
of driving out would be as efficient and fast as the
Matnog ferry.
Day 4 was a rest day. After three days of driving, we
chose to relax in Cebu City (we could have driven to
Bais City in Negros Occidental).
Meanwhile, the three of us felt a little lost. The
Toyota Revo, which had become our “home” for three
days, left us in Cebu City. As coordinated by Ariel de
Jesus from Toyota Motors Philippines, and
implemented in Cebu City by Dodo Cuenco from the
Toyota Cebu dealership, the Revo boarded a ferry to
Iloilo City.
We could not take it with us to Negros island because
a roll-on-roll-off ferry service from Bacolod to Iloilo
happens only once a week.
The next day, we boarded a SuperCat Ferry that took
us to Dumaguete in Negros Oriental. Negros would be
our fifth island in this Cruising Cross Country.
