Enchanted Kingdom gets ready for summer

School’s out, summer’s in and Enchanted Kingdom,

getting ready for its sixth year grand bash this

summer, ushers in the hot season with lots of cool,

enticing treats and services to make the worl-class

theme park a special summer destination for

everyone.



EK’s biggest treat this summer is the Rio Grande Rapids,

the country’s first and EK’s newest attraction offering all

the thrill and excitement of water rafting amid a

refreshing atmosphere of forest and greens.



Rio Grande, which starts regular operations on April 7, is

set for its grand inaugural party on April 28 in celebration

of EK’s sixth anniversary.



To enable guests to make the most of their visit to the

park this summer, Enchanted Kingdom has added in more

treats and services to complete its summer anniversary

offerings.



Park hours have been extended, instead of the regular 7

p.m. closing time, it is now open from 2-9 p.m.

(Wednesdays to Fridays except Holy Thursday and Good

Friday) and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Saturdays and Sundays).

It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, on April

9 (Araw ng Kagitingan), April 10 (Holy Tuesday), April 30,

May 1 (Labor Day), May 14 (Election Day) and June 12

(Independence Day), the park will be open from 2- 9 p.m.



All year-round, patrons can enjoy the following flexible

admission rates: the ride-all-you-can at R400

(weekends/holidays) and R320 (weekdays); the Super

Saver 10 at R250/R200, the ideal package for the family

and the non-adventurous rider inclusive of unlimited

access to 10 rides; and the EK special at R100 which

allows unlimited access to the Grand Carousel.



EK tickets can now be accessibly purchased at 14

Ticketworld outlets. The outlets four-plus-one “Special

Family Bundle”, or one free ticket for every four tickets

purchased.



Travel to and from Enchanted Kingdom has been made

more convenient with its new, clean and airconditioned

buses provided by Philtranco Holidays in two terminals

located at Park Square 2 Ayala Center and Tritran

Buendia Terminal at Sen. Gil Puyat cor. Taft Avenue.

Plans are also underway for another terminal to service

customers in the Quezon City area.



For a no-fuss, travel-friendly package, avail of Philtranco
