Holiday Inn’s Yuletide Getaway Packages
Holiday Inn Manila offers special room packages for couples and families this Yuletide season.
The Family Holly-days Promo priced at R3,000 net includes Superior Room accommodation for two adults and two kids, buffet breakfast at Café Coquilla, free use of pool and gym, Casino Filipino pass and a 10 percent discount on food and beverage orders. Kids also get surprise Christmas gifts with goodies and entrance passes into the Playroom. Simply add R1,000 net for an upgrade to a Junior Suite.
Guests can also avail of a Standard room check-in without the frills, and get the most affordable room rates under the Yuletide Cheers package. Rates are at R1,800 net for single or double occupancy and R2,200 net for triple occupancy. Just add R400 net for an upgrade to a Superior room.
Both packages are exclusive to balikbayans and local residents. Promo is valid until Dec. 31.
Student choirs and Simbang Gabi at Dusit
Dusit Hotel Nikko treats its guests to a musical Christmas celebration as 22 student choirs from various schools render timeless Christmas carols nightly at the hotel lobby.
Participating schools are Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Stella Maris College, Don Bosco Makati, OB Montessori, Sta. Ana, School of the Holy Spirit, Miriam College, Makati Montessori, OB Montessori Las Piñas, Colegio de San Agustin, St. Paul’s Pasig, Maria Montessori Las Piñas, Colegio de San Agustin, St. Paul’s Pasig, Maria Montessori Pasay, St. Benedict College, Kostka Q.C., Sacred Heart Academy, Woodrose School, Golden Values, Kostka Marikina, and Angelicum College.
It has also been a hotel tradition to celebrate Simbang Gabi daily for guests, families and friends for nine consecutive days before Christmas. Mass starts at 5:30 a.m. from Dec. 16 to 24. There will also be holy Masses on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m. and on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day at 10:30 a.m. at the Dusit Grand Ballroom.
For added attraction, antique enthusiasts will surely find interest in an antique Kalesa at the lobby courtesy of Jose Matos of Orientalia Antique Gallery starting Dec. 1.

Richmonde Hotel’s holiday treats & promos
The Richmonde Hotel in Ortigas Center has come up with a series of holiday treats and promotions which will make every family’s celebration truly festive and joyous.
Room packages available from Dec. 14 to Jan. 19, 2003 are at discounted rates: Deluxe- R4,500 net for two nights accommodation, Premier- R5,500 net, one-bedroom suite- R7,000 net and two-bedroom suite- R9,000 net. All packages include two nights stay, buffet breakfast, use of the Health Club, sauna and indoor pool and free local calls.
The Goodie Counter at the lobby is selling Christmas goodies made by the hotel’s expert chefs until Dec. 31.
Traditional Filipino delicacies are available at the Richmonde Grill for R550 per person until Dec. 23 while on Dec. 24 and 25, a delicious Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feasts await diners. The wide array of holiday choices may be sampled at R750 per person.
The New Year revelry will feature international dishes which are priced at R875 (New Year’s Eve buffet) and R575 (New Year’s Day lunch).
There will be live entertainment at the lobby as well as a cocktail buffet on Dec. 31. For kids, Santa Claus will be around to bring goodies for all children diners.
