Native holiday treats at the Lobby Lounge







The season’s all-time Filipino favorites await guests at the Dusit Hotel Nikko.





The traditional and delicious Puto Bumbong and Bibingka are now served freshly hot from the native oven pot at the hotel’s lobby lounge from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays until Dec. 31. Other bestselling native delicacies such as Puto, Kutsinta, Suman sa Ibus, Maja Blanca with choice of salabat, tea, coffee, sago or gulaman are served buffet-style for only R250.00 per person.





Guests may also order a plate of creamy Bibingka or Puto Bumbong with their choice of steaming hot coffee, tea or salabat for only R190.00 and R150.00 respectively, or have it a la carte for only R150.00 for Bibingka and R95.00 for Puto Bumbong. These are also available at The Deli Shop from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays to Sundays.





Richmonde appoints new Executive Chef





The Richmonde Hotel recently appointed Windsor G. Legaspi as its new Executive Chef. He is tasked to head the operations of the Hotel’s various kitchen sections and to further enhance the menus of the F&B outlets by developing more exciting dishes for guests.





Legaspi has more than 13 years of work experience in world class kitchens of deluxe hotels. He began his career as Commis III of an international chain hotel where he rose from the ranks and handled two other positions before transferring to yet another international hotel property.





This initial five-year stint coupled with his inherent culinary skills earned him the distinction of being appointed primarily as Banquet Chef de Partie of New World Renaissance Hotel and later on being promoted as Sous Chef of its fine dining restaurant.





Prior to joining The Richmonde Hotel, Chef Windsor just recently completed a short assignment at Cunard Line Ltd, an offer he took on after his eight-year tenure at the Makati hotel.







Sulo is preferred site for seminars & conferences





The Sulo Hotel in Diliman, Quezon City has been the site of various live-in seminars and conferences by some of the country’s prestigious companies.





Desiree de Guzman, the hotel’s director of sales said some of their recent clients for live-in seminars and conferences have come all the way from Makati and Parañaque, where there are many big hotels and establishments.





According to De Guzman, clients prefer Sulo over other hotels because of its complete amenities and packages that can be tailored to one’s budget. Every month, the hotel is home to five to nine live-in seminars and conferences, in 10 venues, including the hotel’s Quezon
