The SKAL movement was introduced in the Philippines in 1953 with the founding of the SKAL Club of the Philippines. This later became the SKAL Club of Manila in Aug. 28, 1981 when it gave birth to the SKAL Club of Makati. The SKAL Club of Cebu followed in 1990 and the fourth club in the Philippines, SKAL Club of Davao, was chartered in 1997.
