The true spirit of the season takes a magical route as Enchanted Kingdom, the country’s premiere theme park and favorite Holiday destination, hosts a series of activities to bring glad tidings to underprivileged children under the care of various institutions.

“Its actually Christmas all-year round at Enchanted Kingdom and we can’t help but give more this special season. After all, Christmas is for kids and the true kid in us,” said Mario Mamon, president of Enchanted Kingdom.

For instance, Enchanted Kingdom renewed its commitment to the Children’s Hour campaign this year by dedicating more fund-raising activities in the Park. A supporter of the said institution last year, EK continues its commitment by donating all ticket revenues made in the last hour of Park operations on Dec. 24 and 31.

In addition, guests may also help translate children’s dreams into reality by purchasing Wizard merchandise items at the Park’s souvenir shops until Dec. 15 - 5 percent of its total proceeds will also go to the Children’s Hour fund. Moreover, EK employees are encouraged to do their share by volunteering to donate one hour of their salary to the drive.

In addition, the Park’s regular Celebrity Storytelling feature will have more sessions this season in a bid to share joy to more kids from different institutions. This year-long charity activity not only treats these children to a colorful musical production with their favorite celebrity as storyteller, but they also get to spend a magical day at the Park where they are given unlimited access to the rides as well as snacks, all for free.

A number of celebrities have graciously accepted EK’s invitation to take time off from their busy schedules to bring Christmas cheer to the wards of various institutions. They are Asi Taulava (Dec. 13), Snooky Serna (Dec. 14), Elizabeth Oropesa (Dec. 15), Sandy Andolong (Dec. 16), Christopher de Leon (Dec. 17), Rez Cortez and Vice Gov. Mikey Arroyo (Dec. 18), Bembol Roco (Dec. 19), Jeffrey Santos (Dec. 20), Sen. Noli de Castro (Dec. 21), Bobby Yan (Dec. 27), and Tirso Cruz III (Dec. 28).

“The heart of the season is giving and sharing. Kids love EK and we will give them the magical feeling like little princes and princesses in a day at the Park. The experience will be a lasting gift - happy memories,” Mamon said.
