What better way to spend an entire long weekend than with your special someone at a far away, exotic land with breath taking sights, with people endowed with the warmest smiles, and a banquet fit for a king.

Wouldn’t it be perfect if you can have all these for free?

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines treated their 10 frequent flyers to all these last month. Together with their loved ones, they were flown to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia via KLM’s World Business Class.

A sumptuous dinner at the worldfamous telecommunications tower was later sponsored by the KLM group.

The KL Tower, a vertical structure towering 421 meters-high and the fourth tallest tower in the world, is home to Restoran Seri Melayu, a revolving restaurant that serves delectable authentic Malay cuisine.

The top of the tower rotates an amazing 360 degrees, giving KLM’s guests and their dates a spectacular bird’s eye view of the entire city.

The trip proved to be an unforgettable adventure for KLMs frequent fliers. Quite a few were overheard saying they would like to return to the “City of Lights” and take the kids along next time around.

Experiencing the wonderful weekend in KL were Drs. Lauro and Mary Anne Abraham; Drs. Tommy and Ruby Lim-Ty; Dr. Alicia Lustre with Mrs. Teresita Coronel of SSS. President Corazon dela Paz and daughter Cristy; Accenture’s Jacqueline Aboy and husband Alden; UP College of Fine Arts Dean Professor Virginia Dandan and Daisy Mangundayao, among others.

“This is our way of saying thank you to our frequent fliers who continue to inspire us to provide valued relations through high-quality service,” said KLM sales manager Jose Laurente Jr.

Meanwhile, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will expand its network via a launch of scheduled services between Amsterdam and the Georgina capital Tbilisi on June 15.

The roundtrip services will be operated thrice weekly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, with Boeing 737900 equipment. This aircraft seats around 180 passengers in KLM twoclass configuration.

Georgia is a republic in the Caucasus, with a population of 5.2 million. The country has recently undergone constructive political and economic development, fueling demand for transport to and from this market, which will now be linked to KLM and partner’s global network via Schiphol.

KLM flies five times weekly to Europe and its destinations span through the Carribean, Africa, the Middle East and Central, South and North America.
