Fairways and Blue Water A season of relaxation

Everyone goes to Boracay in the summer, but did you know that one of the best times to visit the island paradise is after summer? It is at this time that the island is lush and at its most beautiful. And the best place where you can take a much-needed break from your hectic schedule and hold nature’s splendor in Boracay is in Fairways and Bluewater Golf and Country Club.

After summer, the island transforms into a tranquil and serene place. At the Fairways and Bluewater, you can explore one of the best designed golf courses in the world, where there is an expert melding of the local flora, rare island birds, amidst scattered waterfalls, a recreated tunnel and lush greenery. It is during this season when the verdant scenery is at its most breathtaking. Whether you are playing a relaxing round of golf with the spectacular view all around you, or just letting the serene landscape calm and invigorate you, all the worries of the world will vanish as you are drawn into the carefree spirit of Boracay.

Afterwards, lounge around in one of the resort’s grand Mediterranean-inspired villas. The villas contain several units that are centrally airconditioned and fully furnished. Each villa unit has its own large den which opens to a balcony overlooking the Fairways and Bluewater golf course, a kitchen and bar, a sizable dining area, large bedrooms with two huge beds, and two large bathrooms with tubs. With these plush comforts, a total revitalization of your mind and body is guaranteed.

At this time, the water at the main beach area of Boracay is very choppy due to the habagat; in Fairways and Bluewater’s Paradise Cove, however, the beach area faces away from the seasonal winds. Thus, the water is calm and great for swimming in. There are no large waves to spoil your refreshing swim.

Alternately, you can just take a relaxing dip in the freshwater pool, one of Boracay’s largest. Play a round of billiards or table tennis at the resort’s breezy recreation center. Then satisfy your appetite at the Club House, perched on a bluff overlooking the South Beach – a spectacular view indeed. The Club House’s superb menu ranges from exquisite Continental favorites to delectable seafood array of prawns, crabs, squid, and fish as well as Filipino favorites. The variety of chilled drinks and cocktails is a delight to savor.
