The Island of Cebu is located at the heart of the Philippine Archipelago, one of the many islands of the Visayas group. The Capital of the island province is Cebu City, the oldest and second largest city in the country.

As early as the 13th century, "SUGBU" (as the island province was called) was already an important crossroad of pre-colonial Southeast Asian Trade. Today the Queen City of the South is considered as the top business and tourist destination of Southern Philippines. It has grown from a small fishing village and trading port to a highly urbanized metropolitan area.

Cebu can be reached by air or by sea from other Philippine destinations. It is an hour away by commercial flight from Manila, 4 hours and 30 minutes from Tokyo, 3 hours from Singapore and 2 hours from Hongkong; all routes serviced by international airlines.

Pulchra/Pulkra/ is located south of thev island of Cebu in a quiet barrio of San Isidro, town of San Fernando. It is 43 km from Mactan Cebu International Airport or 45 minutes away from Cebu City. The Resort can be reached by sea transfers through its 46 footer cabin cruise - Pireef.
