How would you like to go on a three-day, two-night shopping and sight-seeing trip to Hong Kong this summer for as low as US$200 or approximately P10,800?

Hard to believe but it’s true. Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) gives vacationers the chance to spend their hard-earned money on a worthwhile and memorable adventure to this former British colony.

During the launch of its newest promotion held recently at the Hotel Intercontinental’s Skytop, the country’s second flag-carrier claimed that it is offering the lowest, value-for-money package in town this summer season.

"We in Cebu Pacific are steadfast in our vow to give to our international airline passengers the kind of CEB service that we offer in all of our domestic flights and one such way is by having package and promo concepts like our new tour promo to Hong Kong," CEB General manager Bong Mojica said.

Starting this month until April 20, travelers can avail of the "FUNtastic Hong Kong Tour Package which includes a round-trip, economy class ticket from Manila to Hong Kong via CEB, three-day, two-night accommodations in three, four, or five-star hotels, daily breakfast, airport-hotel-airport transfer via shuttle service and a one-way transfer to Symphony of Lights/Avenue of Stars at Tsim Sha Tsui.

To make the trip more exciting, CEB has partnered with the Hong Kong Tourism Board by incorporating various options of HKTB-designed tour itineraries in the package.

For an extra minimal fee, travelers can choose from various tour itineraries being offered with the package. Firsttimers to the "City of Lights" can go on a half-day city tour of Hong Kong’s famous attractions such as the Man Mo Temple, Victoria Peak, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Bay and Stanley Market. Families can spend the entire day exploring Ocean Park with their kids. Couples, on the other hand, can go on a sunset cruise and partake of a sumptuous seafood dinner in Lei Yue Mun Seafood Village.

For animal lovers, they can go dolphin watching at the Ma Wan Channel. The world’s pinkest dolphins can be seen here. Cowboys who prefer hard action might be interested to join the Horse Racing Tour at the Happy Valley Race-course and Sha Tin Racecourse. While witnessing the action, they can enjoy unlimited drinks and buffet-style meals at the Visitor’s Box of the racecourses.

Tourists can also savor more of Hong Kong with the open-top bus ride to popular spots like the Avenue of Stars, Temple Street, Victoria Harbor, Golden Mile of Nathan Road, and Tsim Sha Tsui East.

Of course, no tour to Hong Kong would be complete without shopping. If the territory’s night markets and shopping malls are not enough, shopaholics can avail of a full-day shopping tour to Lo Wu Commercial City in Shenzhen, another shopping destination in China.

Lastly, vacationers can also have the chance to see nearby Macau’s historical and cultural spots with a full-day tour with lunch.

Aside from the incredibly low package rate, Cebu Pacific passengers availing of this promo will have the opportunity to win big prizes such as another FUNtastic tour package for two with accommodations at the Marco Polo Hotel, special tourist Octopus cards/transport passes worth HK$88, a Sony Ericsson K700I cellular phone, a roundtrip ticket to any domestic destination via CEB and other prizes.

Upon check-in at the NAIA Terminal, HK-bound passengers of CEB will be instructed to pick an angpao envelope containing an instant prize and a raffle stub. Deadline for submission of entries is on March 31 while the raffle draw will be held on April 15.
