The Richmonde Hotel appoints new officers

The Richmonde Hotel proudly announces the recent appointments of the newest members of its team of key officers Beth G. Dar, Annie R. Dioso and Rey R. Tiongson as assistant director of Sales, Communications manager and Executive housekeeper, respectively.





Dar is an accomplished sales person in the hotel industry, having worked her way up from Sales coordinator to Reservations manager then to Corporate/ Group Sales manager during her six-year stint at a hotel in Santa Monica, California. Also a former Sales Account manager of Richmonde, she further enriched her career after assuming the Sales & Marketing manager and assistant director of Sales positions of a condotel in Alabang and a popular Subic hotel, respectively, in a span of almost five years.



Dioso has been with The Richmonde Hotel for five years, working initially as Executive secretary. She was thereafter promoted to Executive assistant to the Managing director where her aptitude for marketing and public relations was recognized. A graduate of Hotel & Restaurant Administration at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, she also holds a masters degree from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and has gained significant work experience at a Makati-based international chain hotel.



In their new posts, both Dar and Dioso are tasked to provide invaluable support to the director of Sales and Marketing in the formulation and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the hotel.



Tiongson is a seasoned housekeeper with twenty-two years of experience under his belt. His proficiency in managing the Housekeeping Department was borne out of his dedication to his craft, having worked initially as a Houseman, room attendant, and Housekeeping supervisor in hotels at the Bay area before becoming Assistant housekeeper, Housekeeping manager and Executive housekeeper at a resort-hotel in Pampanga and two hotel properties in Manila. His skills in guest relations was also honed while assigned as Airport Representative and Airport Representative supervisor.



In his capacity as Executive housekeeper, Tiongson shall head the operations of the hotel’s housekeeping, laundry and linen departments and together with the Rooms Division manager, shall initiate measures to continuously improve the upkeep of the hotel’s guest rooms and public areas.
