The "One Night in Bangkok" offer will also extend to passengers flying to, or from Auckland when UAEs new Dubai-Bangkok-Sydney service is extended to Auckland on May 1, 2005.

Starting March 29, United Arab Emirates (UAE) Airline is offering one night’s accommodation in Bangkok for passengers flying to or from Sydney as a celebration of its new Dubai-Bangkok-Dubai.

UAE’s First and Business Class passengers will enjoy their complimentary one-night-in-Bangkok at the Shangri-La Hotel, consistently voted best in the world and a preferred choice for business and leisure travelers.

In addition, First Class passengers will be treated to a range of luxuries in the Shangri-la’s Horizon Club Room, including complimentary happy hour drinks and snacks, VIP check in and out, private purser and 24-hour butler service, private lounge, and extra business facilities, meeting rooms and Internet access.

Travelers flying UAE’s Economy Class will have easy access to Bangkok’s main attractions during their free pre-night stay at the Holiday Inn Silom, which is conveniently located in the heart of the city’s commercial, shopping and entertainment district.

This special offer is valid for Economy, Business and First Class passengers on journeys from March 29 to June 30, 2005.

The offer can only be availed once, either on the inbound or outbound leg of the journey.

UAE currently flies daily non-stop between Dubai and Sydney. Its additional thrice-a-week flights to Sydney via Bangkok will start March 29, becoming a daily service and extending onward to Auckland on May 1.

One of the world’s fastest growing airlines, UAE operates services to 78 cities in 55 countries in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, Indian continent and Asia-Pacific, including the Philippines.

In the Philippines, it flies 10 times a week (two flights every Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays).

Later this year, the airline will launch services to Seoul, Geneva and Hamburg. (Lynda B. Valencia)
