HISTORY
The Boutique Bed and Breakfast is one of the newest and hottest destinations in Tagaytay. Opened in October of 2007, this lovely boutique hotel is located along the Tagaytay Ridge overlooking the majestic view of Taal Volcano and Lake.
In June 2007, Happy Ongpauco and Dexter Tiu spotted a location in Tagaytay for their seconf branch of Hawaiian Barbeque Restaurant. The location was too beautiful and romantic for a restaurant! Happy then her called her travel buddies Allana Montelibano, Melon Santiago, Mark Canete, to put a boutique hotel that they have been dreaming of establishing.
A Hotel conceptualized and inspired by their fondness of weekend getaways, travel adventures and passion for food and culture.
After months of continous construction, the property was rebuilt with the help of Architect Jay Pabalan and Interior Designer Chat Flores.
The old property was transformed into a fusionof American, European and Asian designs grounded with Filipino Hospitality. Truly a blend of the old and new world. A haven of luxury and humility. |

This Hotel was named "the Boutique Bed and Breakfast" to capture the image of a boutique hotel yet offer personalized services of a bed and breakfast. It is nestled amidst the slope of Tagaytay Ridge right in the middle of the city.
The Interior provides a dramatic mood with ambient lightning and a mix of texture and colors to enhance romance and emotions.

THE RESTAURANT
Hungry Hotel guests and walk-in clients can eat at the hotel restaurant called Hawaiian Bar-b-que which is located at the Hotel's dining area.
On the menu are fruit infused meat BBQs and seafood dishes concocted by chef restaurateur Happy Ongpauco and her partner businessman Dexter Tiu.
Happy who is in charge of the Hotel operation and kitchen is a graduate of Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley and comes from the Ongpauco clan who gave a country a great tasting a Filipino Food from the Barrio Fiesta Group of Companies.
Happy also operates and runs her own chain of restaurant that consists of World Topps, Bento Box, Sake Lab and Happy Carts.
At Hawaiian Bar-b-que, best sellers are the Bourllabaise, Volcanic Wings, Seafood Coco, Kalua Prok Belly, Pineapply Shrimp Curry and the famous Baby Back Ribs.
Aside from Tagaytaym you will find Hawaiian Bar-b-que in Boaracay and soon in Esplanade by the Manila Bay. All locations have the Hawaiian Luau feel, the majestic view of the water and of course, the beautiful sunset.

Even though there are many boutique hotel in different countries, the Boutique Keepers keep an extra mile by creating their own line of body bath and beauty essentials for their guests, labeled "PAMPER ME".
As the guests check in, they are escorted to the powder room to choose their scent of shampoo, conditioner, soap, gel, lotion and room scent.
This makes the Boutique the only Hotel in the World that offers such service. They also have pillow menu where guests can choose specialized pillows for headaches, back aches, anti-allergy, memory pillows as well as body pillows and those for side sleepers. |
