FOOD AND BEVERAGES OUTLETS Oriental Flavors is a fine dining restaurant that serves a fusion of Asian dishes, primarily Thai and Chinese cuisine. The interiors are decorated in a tasteful mix of ornaments: jars and porcelain vessels, larger-than-life statuary, silk flowers and crystal chandeliers. The tables and chairs were designed and created exclusively for Oriental Flavors. The Oriental Flavors Fine Dining Restaurant is open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Poolside Pavilion primarily serves as a venue for conventions, seminars and conferences but doubles as a food service outlet for the Poolside Restaurant and Bar. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sir Sam’s Ristorante currently serves as our Breakfast Restaurant from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. and may be used for private functions for lunch and dinner. Coffee Town is a European-style café that serves hot and cold coffee concoctions as well as cakes and pastries. Coffee Town is open from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. GALLERIES Precious Moments Gallery showing early editions of Precious Moments choice items from bisque figurines and dolls. It is likewise a mini-museum of select memorabilia such as personal items belonging to Sam Butcher (paint-spattered work outfits) juxtaposed with a display of select gift items given to Sam Butcher. The Precious Moments Gallery is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Other Galleries are currently being developed to add to the many interesting and very educational amenities of Sampaguita Gardens.  NOT JUST FOR KIDS Right in front of Jojo’s Christmas Cottage is Sammy’s Circus Rides. A merry-go-round, Ferris wheel and mini-train offer loads of fun for children of all ages. Sammy’s Circus Rides operate from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and offers free rides from 4:30 to 5:30 every afternoon. Located inside Sammy’s Showboat is Sammy’s Library and Interactive Center for Children. It is a haven for children who love to discover and learn. Books, films, story telling and other fun activities like coloring and games make Sammy’s Library and Interactive Center for Children a wonderful seaport of opportunities. The very colorful 43-foot Aquarium features a background personally designed by Sam Butcher. GARDENS Two bronze horses stand guard at the entrance to the Oriental Garden. The stimulating scent of Ylang-ylang pervades as you walk through footpaths designed by Sam Butcher. On the sides are meandering paths with koi ponds, animals in concrete materials, jars and other ceramic decors, and nooks and crannies with sculptures and effigies that offer photographic opportunities. The Oriental Garden is a popular venue for garden weddings. The Spa Garden is a haven for relaxation. It is located in a somewhat secluded corner of the resort, away from the proverbial maddening crowd. This is an ideal venue for very intimate weddings and small receptions. The Spa Garden is a tranquil place for photographs and memories. In the heart of the Chapel Garden is a Bird Bath amidst angel flowers, hibiscus flowers in different colors, the ever popular Calachuchi (Frangipani) and palm trees. HEALTH AND SERVICES Jojo’s Fitness Center is a haven for the health-conscious traveler. The Fitness Center has a couple of thread mills and other exercise equipment and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For your safety, please do not attempt to use any of the exercise equipment. This facility is for billeted guests and members only. The Spa is a place of tranquility, rest and recreation with a calm and soothing ambiance. Come in and inquire about available services, from massages, body treatments and other services. Please note that children are not allowed inside the Spa, which is open from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Last call for treatment is at 10:00 p.m. Appointments are encouraged. RETAIL THERAPY The Butterfly Farm and Gift Shop is all about growing butterflies endemic to the local area and selling gift items revolving around butterflies and then some house ware and decorative items. The Butterfly Farm and Gift Shop is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Jojo’s Christmas Cottage is the reason why we celebrate Christmas 365 days a year. This 3-storey Victorian building is home to Precious Moments, one of the world’s most recognizable lifestyle brands. Precious Moments bisque figurines, dolls and other items are found on the ground floor. The second floor houses other souvenir items and products from companies being supported by JCC in terms of product development, design, and marketing. Santa’s Workshop is on the third floor where some of the items are created, mostly by part-time student workers. Jojo’s Christmas Cottage is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Also at Jojo’s Christmas Cottage, along the Avenue of Angels, is a Ford Model T, circa 1918. This rare vehicle, prized by serious collectors worldwide for its historical value, was a gift to Sir Sam from his children.
