ABACA provides a full service Mediterranean inspired restaurant and the bar featuring the the cuisine of Chef owner jason Hyatt. Chef Jason's experience on four continents has helped him to create a startlingly complete menu of healthy cuisine to enhance your visit. The Restaurant is open to the public for dinner.
Relax with sweeping sea vistas while dining on the freshest local fish and seafoods and imported meats and cheeses from around the world. Taste the freshness of the organic herbs and vegetavles grown in our gardens. The menu from chef Jason includes wood fired oven roasted meats and seafood, handmade pizzas and pastas, freshly baked breads, tapas, and a wide array of salads and appetizers.
The ABACA bar features a carefully selected list of both old and new world wines cellared in our climate controlled wine room. A complete coctail menu is available as well as many healthy tropical juices, shakes and drinks. Enjoy dining in a sophisticated tropical setting with subdued romantic lighting and a cool sea breeze drifting accross the veranda overlooking the sea. With its soaring ceiling and imposing columns, it offers great visuals drama. Completely surrounded by the tranquil sounds of water features with undoubtedly soothe you will being presented and delivered with a warm-hearted staff that has a friendly, shy smile in their eyes.

The Boutique Spa at ABACA is a completely private escape and open to resort guests only. As a private quest at ABACA you will have the option of taking your spa services in the privacy of your room, terrace or garden. In addition, ABACA offers the option of receiving spa services in our climate controlled spa room(s). beachfront cabanas or the spa water garden. Regardless of where you decide to take part in your spa experience the tranquil surroundings will blur the destinction between outside and inside.
Our full service spa offers all natural facials, therapeutic massage and personalized body treatments. Enjoy a total experience that the involves all of the senses for an almost total surrender to serenity. Soak in a fragrant bath of aromatic flowers, luxuriate in an organic papaya wrap or loosen the muscles at the touch of gifted hands. The Spa's signature products are adapted from traditional beauty recipes capturing the healing and nourishing essense of nature. Using the finest and and purest indegenous ingredients, they are nutrient, rich and aromatic. in addition to the range of individual treatments, the spa offers packages from 3 - 4 hours, allowing guest the oppurtunity to truly immerse themselves in the total spa experience in the most private of facilities.
ACTIVITIES
At ABACA, everything is done to ensure guests devote their time to their own leisure persuits. Simple bask in the tranquility of the sea and lush tropical surroundings or enjoy our activities including cruises, diving, golf, yoga, island and land excursions. Wonder around and touch the bougainvilleas, frangipanis and jacarandas.
The impression is entirely natural, so lush, that ABACA is almost impossible to spot from the water offering you complete privacy and seclusion. Pool activities bathe and perfect the art of lounging in the sunshine next to our 150 square meter ocean front inifinity pool. With just a maximum of 18-20 quests in the resort. At the pool you will be able to enjoy the unobstructed ocean views from the privacy of on of our private cabanas.
On a cruise, the journey is the goal. Sail by small island with coral reefs surrounded by mesmerizing crystal clear turquoise water. A selection of boats and cruise options are available from small dinghies for a picnic lunch at a nearby beach to luxury blue water cruisers for island hopping. Cruise through the sunset right into the moonlight with exclusive overnigt and day charters as well as dinner and cocktail cruises.
PADI accredited dive programs are available year round starting right from our beachfront with a channel teeming with marine life. There is a full fledged diving school that caters to all levels including an introductory one-day course as well as itineraries for the more experienced.
Jet Ski's, windsurfing, sailboats, swimming and snorkeling are available on our beachfront, weather and tide permitting. Three Internatinal Standard Golf Courses are located within 30-75 minutes of ABACA and visits can be arranged. Guests are welcome to visit our Resor owned deserted private island. Protected by a vibrant mangrove forest, discover private swimming holes a barefoot walks in a wild, secluded a natural setting with white sand beaches. Guests are provided a picnic lunch to complete the truly isolated tropical island experience.
Nearby land excursions are always available to discover some of the exotic foreign surroundings and adventurous marketplaces. It is hard to believe that there is a whole different world. Only a few kilometers away in a warm-hearted and obliging country where time passes more slowly then elsewhere.
