Location. The Best Western Americania is located one block from the BART light rail system in San Francisco, Calif. The Westfield San Francisco Centre, positioned two blocks from the hotel, is a modern shopping complex that opened in September 2007.

Guestrooms. The four-story Best Western Americania offers 143 guestrooms renovated in late 2007. The style is 80s hip, with modernistic vinyl chairs, plastic orange glass-topped tables, white plastic and chrome desks, and green and black checkerboard-patterned carpets. Rooms offer flat-panel televisions and iPod connections. Refrigerators are available on request for a fee. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is complimentary.
Expert Tip. Popular Market Street is located one block from the hotel. Turn right from the hotel and right again onto Market Street. A wealth of eclectic restaurants and clubs are a stroll away.

Exit the airport and take US-101 N toward San Francisco. Bear right onto I-80 toward the Bay Bridge. Take the 7th Street exit. Follow signs for Downtown onto 7th Street. Proceed on 7th Street for about one-half mile. The hotel is located on the right.
From Metropolitan Oakland International Airport: Approximate distance to the hotel is 20 miles.
Exit the airport on Hegenberger Road. Take I-880 N toward Oakland. Take I-80 W/San Francisco/Bay Bridge. Cross over the Bay Bridge. Take the 5th Street exit. Turn left onto Harrison Street and proceed two blocks. Turn right onto 7th Street.
