Location. Hawks Cay Resort is located 90 miles south of Miami on the island of Duck Key, Fla. The 60-acre resort is 11 miles from Sombrero Country Club and 13 miles from Pigeon Key.
Features.Hawks Cay Resort faces an 85-slip, full-service marina complete with a convenience store, freshwater hook-ups and fuel. The property offers a health spa with massages and beauty treatments, including seaweed wraps and moisturizing facials. An exercise room features Life Fitness strength and cardiovascular equipment, and fitness classes are available. The resort provides several dining venues. The Alma restaurant serves dinner, specializing in Nuevo Latino cuisine. The Bar at Alma features a tapas menu of light entrees served afternoons and evenings. In the main hotel lobby, the Coffee Bar serves serves Illy coffee, barist-made drinks, juices and select pastries. Offering alfresco dining, the Terrace serves classic breakfasts and lunches, and the Beach Grill provides poolside service. Located alongside the marina, Tom's Harbor House & Bar is a family-friendly restaurant offering American brasserie-style dinners. The property features five pools, including a resort pool with a multi-level terrace accessing the private saltwater lagoon. A clubhouse with supervised children's programs and a teen center with game tables, sports courts and a snack bar is available. Wireless Internet access is included in the resort fee, and is available throughout the hotel building. A tram service links various parts of the resort, and bicycle rentals are available.
Guestrooms. With decor reminiscent of the Florida Keys, accommodations feature furnished balconies or patios with pool or water views. Cable television is provided in all units. Housekeeping services are available. Hotel guestroom bathrooms feature bathrobes, oversized showers (some with tubs), and natural stone and granite finishes. Driving Directions
61 Hawk's Cay Blvd, Duck Key, Fla. From Key West International Airport: Take US-1 North to Mile Marker 61. Exit over the bridge into Duck Key. The resort entrance is on the left side of Hawk's Cay Boulevard.
From Miami International Airport: Take Le Jeune Road to the "836 West" exit. Take 836 West to the "Florida Turnpike South" exit. The Turnpike becomes US-1 South. Take US-1 South to Mile Marker 61, Duck Key. Turn left onto Duck Key.
