Location. The Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse is located approximately two blocks from the Gulf of Mexico in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. Grayton Beach State Park and Grayton Beach Recreation Center are both approximately one-and-one-half miles away. The Ruskin Place Artists' Colony, located in the neighboring town of Seaside, is approximately two-and-one-half miles away.
Features. The Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse is surrounded by pathways lined with trees, plants and colorful flower and herb gardens. Complimentary full breakfasts are served daily in the property's vegetarian café, which features breakfast entrees, hot and cold beverages, yogurt shakes and smoothies. The inn's signature dish is Waffle Wonderful, a mound of fruit, peanut butter and honey topping a crisp waffle. Complimentary wireless Internet service is available throughout the main house. The guesthouse includes a library with a piano, and a courtyard with patio tables. Laundry facilities are available.
Guestrooms. The 11 guestrooms at the Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse are located in multiple buildings. Accommodations are decorated with themes including flowers, Art Deco, birds and palm leaves. All rooms include cable television. Select rooms contain antique claw-foot soaking tubs and jetted tubs. Suite and flat accommodations offer shared kitchenettes and living areas with refrigerators and microwave ovens. The Hibiscus Flat contains a kitchen, living room, and porch, and is equipped with a television and a DVD player.
Expert Tip. Bert's Barn, which houses five of the Hibiscus' accommodations, is nearly 100 years old. In order to avoid demolition it had to be moved across town in three pieces to the inn's grounds.
