Location. The Ocean Edge Resort & Club, located in Brewster, Mass., is perched on a bluff overlooking Cape Cod Bay in a picturesque New England village of bay beaches, sea captains' homes and tree-lined streets. The property is situated along historic Old King's Highway, known as the "Cultural Corridor" of Cape Cod.
Features. The Victorian-era Nickerson Mansion was built in 1890 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The mansion is the centerpiece of the resort, which spans more than 400 manicured acres. The resort boasts six pools, 11 outdoor tennis courts, a 700-foot stretch of private beach, a Nicklaus Design 18-hole championship golf course and the paved, 26-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail. The property offers three seasonal poolside snack cabanas. Meeting rooms and banquet facilities are available and the resort provides full business services, including high-speed wired and wireless Internet access for a fee.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms are adjacent to the Nickerson Mansion and feature classic coastal décor, including two overstuffed easy chairs. Rooms boast furnished balconies and terraces. Bathrooms include terry-cloth bathrobes and Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries.
Expert Tip. The resort organizes activities such as clambakes, bonfires, outdoor concerts, whale-watching and guided biking tours. Call early to reserve children's junior golf and tennis clinics - the classes fill up quickly.
Please Note: This resort is currently renovating its 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The front nine is currently open, and the entire course is scheduled for completion Spring 2008. Resort fee inclusions:

From Barnstable Municipal Airport: Approximate distance to the hotel is 18.5 miles.
Go south on Barnstable Road. Enter roundabout and exit Iyannough Road/MA-28. Turn left onto Yarmouth Road. Yarmouth Road becomes Willow Street. Merge onto US-6 East/Mid-Cape Highway toward Orleans/Provincetown. Take the RT-124 North exit toward Brewster. Turn left onto MA-124/Pleasant Lake Avenue. Turn right onto Main Street/MA-6A/Cranberry Highway. The resort is located on the left.
