Concierge staff can assist guests with excursions to area attractions, such as private tours of Savannah's historical sites and distinctive neighborhood squares.
Guestrooms. The John Rutledge House Inn contains 19 individually decorated guestrooms furnished with 18th and 19th century antiques and reproductions. Select units feature fireplaces and en suite jetted tubs. All accommodations offer four-poster beds with Tempur-Pedic mattresses and private bathrooms with bathrobes. Other amenities include mini fridges and cable television. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available.
Expert Tip. The inn's original owner and namesake was a member of the Continental Congress and one of 55 signers of the U.S. Constitution. John Rutledge later served as governor of South Carolina and as U.S. Supreme Court chief justice.
