The St. Anthony displays historic funishings with exquisite French Empire antiques and original paintings by Remington, Cartier and DeYoung. Chefs at the Madrid Room prepare American Southwestern cuisine. Pete's Pub is a traditional Victorian pub serving cocktails and light fare in an elegant atmosphere. The hotel hosts more than 22,000 square feet of event space, including a 3,600 square foot ballroom, an open-air rooftop terrace and 22 function rooms. Restored black-and-white-tiled bathrooms feature pedestal sinks. Expert Tip. Outside Pete's Pub, a black-and-white photo displays Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Shirley Temple, Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth visiting The St. Anthony. Other lobby photos include a snapshot of Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, and one of John Wayne taken during the filming of The Alamo. The guest register reveals famous signatures from decades past.
