The result is a symphony of flavours: Italian, Asian and French, all laid out in sheer sophisticated elegance. Initial reactions are consistent: this is not garden-variety vegetarian fare.

Prana Restaurant reflects the lifestyle philosophy of its owners, “prana” being the Sanskit word that means “life force”. Vegetarian food, when cooked right, maintains prana in vegetables thus, delivering vitality. In other words, to eat right is to celebrate life.

At Prana Restaurant, refined vegetarian spa cuisine nourishes the body and complements Mandala’s spa treatments and spa holidays. Offerings are created for Mandala Spa & Villas by top culinary chefs, in collaboration with the owners. At Prana, guests are in for a culinary adventure, and introduce vegetarian cuisine as sumptuous gourmet spa cuisine, with dishes that are satisfying, even for non-vegetarians.

Resort guests enjoy a hearty and healthy breakfast buffet of home-made jams, muffins, muesli, yogurt and juices, as well as hot plates such as the Egg white omelet with feta cheese and tomatoes and Eggs Florentine. We also serve Italian coffee and a selection of teas and lassi.

The ala carte menu consists of soups, salads, light dishes and desserts. For the benefit of our long-staying guests, new selections are offered on a weekly basis. Set dinners are also specially created daily, for our resort guests, alongside a selection of wines.  Detox and Cleanse Holiday guests enjoy a special gourmet raw food menu. Prana Restaurant also provides for special dietary needs upon request.
