Singapore Airlines (SIA) gives its passengers a lot more reasons to fly to those summer getaways as it offers more attractive deals and exclusive discounts just by using SIA’s boarding pass, the so-called "ticket to a world of privileges."

A Gold Award Winner at the recent 2005 Pacific Asia Travel Association Awards, SIA’s Boarding Pass Privileges Program lets passengers enjoy a host of shopping, dining, accommodations and lifestyle benefits. Offerings include packages and discounts of up to 50 percent at a variety of tourist attractions, shopping malls, dining establishments, and leading hotels in Singapore, Bali, Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Vietnam, Australia and the Philippines.

Passengers arriving in Manila on its three daily flights from Singapore simply have to present boarding pass stubs within seven days of their flight date at any of the 72 partner establishments including The Podium Mall in Ortigas, La Vigne Bistro in Makati, Oliver’s Super Sandwiches, Hyatt Hotel and Casino, Mandarin Oriental Manila, Taal Vista Hotel and Hotel Philippine Plaza.

Meanwhile, both local residents and foreign guests who present their SIA Boarding Pass at Hotel PonteFino in Batangas City will get 40 percent discount on published executive room rates, 20 percent discount on airport transfers from NAIA to Hotel PonteFino and late check-out can also be availed. Malate Pensionne offers 20 percent discount, Sentro 1771 in Greenbelt 3 and Chateau 1771 in El Pueblo offer 15 percent discount on food and beverages. (Jaser A. Marasigan)
