APO REEF - THE BEST DIVING SITE - REN MAGPAYO
The best diving sites in the Philippines are in Apo Reef, just off San Jose Mindoro. There are fishes so big, you think
they're all whales. The underwater terrain is very colorful, perfect for photography. And yes, there are sharks. I had a
close encounter with a 6 footer, plus three nurse sharks sleeping side by side by side under a crevice. And the best part
of the diving here is - it's not as expensive as Tubbataha or Palawan.
THE LAGOON IS STILL NATURAL... - LOUIE EXCLAMADOR
El Nido, Palawan, Camigiun Island in Cagayan de Oro & Talikod Island of Samal, Davao del Norte. The lagoon is still
natural, clear water, and a lot of fishes & kinds of corals. Without these things, diving is nothing.
