A spacious floor area, an elegant living room, stylish bedrooms, plus a kitchen and dining area - all in your hotel room.

The Linden Suites, located along San Miguel Avenue in Ortigas, blends full hotel features with the comforts of home, for the discriminating business traveler.

It is owned by Swiss-Belhotel International — an international hotel management company based in Hong Kong which operates hotels, resorts and serviced apartments throughout Asia.

There are deluxe and premiere suites, studio type, and the two penthouse rooms, totalling 128 luxuriously furnished and designer-decorated dwellings, for short or long-term residency.

Swiss-Belhotel’s personalized service is maintained in all its hotels, including Swiss-Belhotel Changchun in China and Hanoi Horison Hotel in Vietnam. The company operates three venues in Indonesia: Hotel Ciputra in Jakarta and Semarang, and Swiss-Belhotel in Bali Aga.

Joy de Mesa, marketing and sales director of the hotel, said that they aim to provide their guests with the professional attention and facilities that ensure they have a memorable stay.

“We want our guests to treat the hotel as their home, that’s why our suites are accessorized with essential features for business and home perks,” she said.

The Linden Suites opened last year, gaining a reputation for its special amenities which are not found in other local hotels. The Premiere Suite looks more like a fully-furnished residence, having its own living and dining room, and even a kitchen where guests can do their cooking. The two-bedroom suite measures 79 sqm to 115 sqm, while the onebedroom suite is at 44 sqm to 79 sqm.

A refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, stove, plus designer chinaware, cutlery and glassware, are a fancy treat for guests who can consider the suite as their home for the day.

The interior decor is luxuriously designed, with light wallpapered walls and carpeted floors, exuding a comfy, stylish aura. The expansive living room is accessorized with a cushioned sofa set and a complete entertainment system. The premiere suite has a 24-inch, cable TV, and a mini-component with three-disc changer capacity.

Guests have a choice of a queen-size and single bed, a queen-size and twin beds, or two queen-size beds to accommodate all occupants. The walk-in closet also has its own ironing board and iron, and an electronic safe where valuables can be kept.

For business travelers, an executive desk is set, complete with a fax machine and a phone with two IDD lines and voice mail system. Modem ports with internet access are also conveniently located in the room. Laptops and printers can be rented from the management.

Room service includes laundry and dry cleaning, shoe shine, butler, babysitting, grocery shopping services, and even video and equipment rentals.

There’s also 24-hour reception and concierge, housekeeping and maintenance, and security with personalized card system access.

Meanwhile, the deluxe room, measuring 38/40 sqm, has a stylish timber-wood hallway floor, well-stocked mini-bar, tea and coffee-making facilities, comfortable bedroom with luxurious queen-size or twin-size beds, spacious walk-in closet, and granite bathroom countertops.

Local residents, for as low as R2,500 per night, can enjoy the following perks: overnight stay in a deluxe room, buffet breakfast, use of pool, jacuzzi and gym facilities, late check-out (2 pm). An overnight stay in a one-bedroom suite with a kitchenette costs only around R3,000, while a two-bedroom suite costs around R4,500.

The hotel facilities are also comparable to other existing first-class hotels. The ninth floor has a gym, an indoor pool, and the massage and sauna areas, all designed for the traveler wanting to relax.

The Kagayaki Aesthetic salon offers different types of massage for a fee starting at an affordable R300: reflexology, shiatsu, Swedish, and Hawaiian.

The indoor pool, leveling at four feet, is salinated, not chlorinated. Its temperature is maintained warm, while the jacuzzi’s is set warmer. The garden mural theme and dim blue lighting for the pool facility relaxes guests who want to lounge in the area or the poolbar.

For the health-conscious, a gym with endurance and weight training equipment is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

As for those seeking culinary delight, the second floor holds the Monsoon Bar and Restaurant, which is catered by popular pastry shop Cravings.

For company events or social gatherings, the roof deck and fourth floor holds multi-use function rooms.

The Business Center is situated at the fourth floor, where three function rooms can accommodate 100 to 150 guests.

Seven suites located in four floors (fifth to eighth) are reserved for office use, with a separate lobby entrance and reception area.

The Penthouse Suite, measuring 287 sqm to 295 sqm, will soon be opened. The expansive and elegant residence has three bedrooms, and a balcony overlooking Manila’s dramatic skyline. The Master’s Bedroom has a king-size bed and a VCD player.

A spacious dining area with eight-person seating capacity and elegant crystal cut chandelier, as well as a lavish living room will make guests feel every inch regal.

The suite has its separate dishwasher and laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and the maid’s quarters.
