New interactive themepark for kids opens in Cavite

Picture this - an 18 hole pitch chip and putt golf course, a multi-level sports and extreme game club, children's interactive learning center, health and fitness venue, artist's gallery, themed dining, nature and adventure trail, business center, an entertainment, amusement and theme park-all in one sprawling complex.

This place is Kidzworld, the first-of-its-kind, child-oriented nature, sports and adventure club complex in the country. Created with the child’s total development in mind, the themepark takes a holistic approach by providing 88 new thrills, creative and interactive games and fun-filled adventure.

The themepark was developed by the Ponce Group of Companies and Sun Raise Consultants Ltd. of Hong Kong. It is located at corner E. Aguinaldo Highway and Governor’s Drive in Dasmariñas, Cavite. Just 40 minutes away from Makati, Kidzworld stands amidst major golf courses in the South of Metro Manila and is also conveniently situated beside the upcoming SM and Robinson’s Mall.

This summer, Kidzworld opens the first phase of its five-phase development – the first USGA Pitch-Chip-andPutt 18-hole course in the world. Unlike other golf courses where children are not allowed to play in the fairway, kids can enjoy a game of golf with adults. Also, this all-weather course provides golfers a real venue to practice their putts and chips. The golf course comes with bunkers, water hazards and a clubhouse.

The second phase is the Batanes Cove, which will break ground in April. Batanes Cove is a magical waterworld of Magellan’s journey. It includes a white-water rafting adventure, log ride, wave pool, heated lagoon, snorkeling, lazy river and craggy-rocks rock climbing aboard a true replica of the historic galleon.

Next to come is Magellan’s Playworld. This is an enchanting setting of the seven continents featuring the Asian Fishing Village, the African Safari Maze, the International Dollhouse Village, Europe’s Eiffel Tower slide and St. Peter’s Dome wading pool, South American Remote Control Rally Racing, Australian Carousel and the Antarctica’s Igloo.

This will be followed by Kidz Palace, equipped with the state of the art equipment to cater to all needs from daycare, soft gym, gigantic building blocks, artist’s gallery, record-‘n’-play studio of kids and toddlers, a game room, THX home theater, health & spa fitness gym, beauty salon, themed dining, library, internet café and business center of the adults.

And finally, the last phase is the MAC or the multi-level activity center. This glass and steel structure will house an ice skating rink, glow-in-the dark bowling lanes, Olympic size swimming pool, go-cart racing tracks, extreme sports areas, ghost blasterz, giant board games, multipurpose gym and more.

Kidzworld design philosophy was inspired by Dr. Lauren Bradway, Ph.D. on Human Ecology. Her research shows that “a child who can put all her senses to work has a greater chance at success compared to a child left to learn on a single style.”

This one-of-a-kind facility will be strictly exclusive for members. For inquiries call 721-2167; 721-3509; fax no. 723-2596 or e-mail at fun@kidzworld.com.ph.

Kidzworld is a member of International Association of Amusement Parks and Attraction.
