TravelTour Expo ’03 on high gear

Preparations for the biggest and much-awaited travel event of the year shifts to high gear as exhibitors get ready for the TravelTour Expo 2003. Organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association, in cooperation with the Department of Tourism, the 3-day travel fair unfolds on Feb. 7, 8 & 9 at Megatrade Halls 1 & 2 of the SM Megamall with 250 booths showcasing the industry’s finest tourist destinations, products and services both from the international and domestic travel market.







Now on its 10th year, TTE 2003 will have the theme “Bringing You The World” and promises to be another big event, as all participating airlines, hotels, resorts and cruise liners are coming up with their own special tour packages and unique promotional gimmicks to entice the travel-savvy public. Visitors can look forward to loads of amazing travel discounts, fabulous raffle prizes and thus a host of challenging and fun-filled activities, such as Embassy forums, entertainment & games, and cultural presentations .

Relentless in their efforts to rev-up Tourism in the country, the organizers led by Chairperson Annette Feliciano and Co-Chairman Ricky Ordoñez are bent on setting up a new benchmark for TTE 2003. Some 52,000 people are expected to show up this year with on-site sales expected to hit R75 million.
