Cebu Pacific (CEB) is now just a text message away. Both Smart and Globe subscribers can easily access CEB information through their cellular phones by simply sending the keyword “CEBU PACIFIC” to 2360 for Globe and Touch Mobile and 2260 for Smart and Talk ‘N Text.
Once inside the “CEB” site, subscribers can easily get information on flight schedules and fares, departure and arrival times, and partner hotel rates. “With this tie-up, people can access CEB even if they’re on the road or out of town,” said Salvador Ramirez, CEB VP for Sales.
CEB and Wholesale Travel Club, the facility’s provider, are also developing additional mobile phone functions that will allow subscribers to check flight status. “Pretty soon, passengers can find out whether a flight has departed or arrived through SMS,” said Ramirez. By participating in the Wholesale Travel Club, CEB has added another great value service to its passengers in terms of convenience.
