Hundreds of photographers joined last Saturday’s on-the-spot photo competition with Taal’s tourist destinations as their subjects.

Photoworld Cup, sponsored by Kodak Phils. and supported by the DoT, is an annual competition among camera club members from different parts of the country affiliated with Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF).

Many tourists, local and foreign, visit Taal in Batangas because of many attractions like old Spanish houses and churches. Taal volcano is world famous because despite the smallest, it’s among the deadliest.

Participants must use Kodak CN 41 Chromogenic negative film. Subjects included the town of Taal; Taal lake/volcano; industries like balisong, sawali, panutsa and other cottage industries; people and old houses/churches. Entries should be 8x10 black and white print.

Deadline of submission of entries is on Oct. 25, 2 p.m. at the FPPF chamber at Fort Santiago.
