continuation..
Once we reached the 12 Apostles, it was unlike anything I have seen before. The natural wonder of seeing the cliffs along the coast is nothing short of fascinating. It was like seeing a personal handicraft of nature in that the walls of the cliff are so refined and intricately carved. Across from the cliffs are the Apostles themselves: Huge rock stacks standing out like ocean stalagmites separated by sea from the mainland. While the rocky apostles we saw nowhere near resemble the 12 biblical apostles whom we all know and read much about, their very existence is a testament of the power and ingenuity of God Almighty. One can only hypothesize how many years it took Him to carve them all together! Simply magnificent describes the horizon I fixed my gaze on along the rocky coast, with the endless stretch of vivid blue ocean and its crashing white waves. Just to think that a few days by sailboat south of here is the frigid and mysterious continent of Antartica! Now that is some serious adventure we’re talking about.
