Thai Airways announced the overwhelming success of its latest offer, THAI Touch, the THAI Traditional Massage Project, in cooperation with Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health, which makes available professional Thai masseuses providing therapeutic massage services for THAI’s Royal First Class and Royal Executive Class passengers.

The objective of the project is to create awareness of Thai traditional medical practices and Thai herbal drinks. This highly popular travel perk gives the airline’s passengers a unique Thai massage experience while relaxing in THAI’s lounge at Bangkok’s Don Muang Airport before boarding their flights. The service is available from 6 a.m. to 12 midnight daily.

Following its recent launch, the airline received numerous letters of appreciation and a lot of positive feedback from its passengers.

Majority of passengers who sent in letters expressed their appreciation for this unique marketing tool and for the much-appreciated feeling of well-being as they embark on their trip. In addition, the airline was commended for giving importance to the health of its passengers and for increasing their knowledge of traditional Thai therapeutic practices through the distribution of information materials.

To further promote this travel perk, THAI plans to produce an inflight video for passengers and a Thai traditional massage course for THAI cabin crew. The possibility of providing inflight traditional massage is now being considered.

THAI flies from Manila 10 times weekly to Bangkok and daily to Osaka. Details on its affordable Royal Orchid Holidays tour packages may be obtained through any travel agent or log on to www.thaiairways.com.
