Breathtaking beaches, waterfalls, caves and verdant valleys...these are but a few of nature’s delights that tourists may find in Cagayan Valley Region. And the same can be found in Clamshell 1 in Intramuros...or at least somewhat close to it, as Region 2 showcases its eco-adventure destinations and more in the “Best of the Regions” series of the Department of Tourism (DoT).
“Pagayaya na Cagayan Valley Region ta Intramuros,” which will run until Oct. 3, is in line with the “WOW Philippines! Ganda ng Pilipinas, Galing ng Pilipino” program of the DoT.
“Pagayaya,” which means merry making or joyful gathering, promises a one stop entertainment venue for every visitor. “This is made possible through the overwhelming support and cooperation extended by the local government units, private sector groups, the academe and the regional line agencies,” said Region 2 Director Blessida Diwa.
She added that for this year, they have prepared a highly-interactive regional showcase with hands-on experience in the adventure destinations offered in the region like mountaineering, camping, wall climbing and historical immersion. Giving visitors a glimpse and a good feel of the things that the region can offer.
