In just fifteen minutes, the world-renowned white sand beach filled our vision, inviting and enticing us to dip in the cool waters. Not a few first-time visitors have joked half-seriously about jumping from the yacht straight into the deep blue sea.

As the yacht docked at the south end of the stretch, Fairways and Bluewaters’ quaint golf carts await for the exclusive use of the club’s guests. A two-minute golf cart ride and you enter the posh Fairways and Bluewater enclave. After passing through the gate, grand Mediterranean-inspired villas loom before you — these are the most luxurious accommodations in the whole of Boracay. Each one is impressive in its scale and finish.

The villas contain several units that are centrally airconditioned, fully furnished, and are complete with plush appointments. Each villa unit has its own large den which opens to a balcony overlooking the golf course; a kitchen and bar, a sizeable dining area, large bedrooms with two huge beds, two large bathrooms with tubs.

For those billeted on the ground floor, the lounging area spills to the breathtaking golf course in the rear. For an excellent start to your vacation, yoga or deep breathing exercises is recommended early in the morning on the terrace of your spacious villa.

Aside from the relaxing atmosphere which permeates the whole island of Boracay, Fairways and Bluewater also offers quality exercise for everyone. Take a shot playing at the spectacular 18-hole Graham Marsh golf course, described as one of the most beautiful in the world and renowned for its breathtaking and scenic spread. Here, you can walk around one of the best designed golf courses in the world, where there is a masterful blending of the local flora: Rare island birds amidst scattered waterfalls, a recreated stone tunnel, and lush greenery.

The resort also offers exciting water sports such as jet skiing and windsurfing. In the recreation center, billiards and table tennis are the main attractions. If you are feeling a bit adventurous, Fairways and Bluewater even offers horseback riding. You can also opt to take a dip in the resort’s freshwater swimming pool, one of Boracay’s largest.
