one boat ride and two jeepney trips. Places
of interest located in the Coron Bay are the MAQUINIT
HOTSPRINGS, a twin-basin of waist-deep free-flowing sulfuric
water from an active magma chamber and the most photographed
spot in Palawan, the CAYANGAN LAKE. The fresh-water
natural pool is surrounded by steep cliffs jutting out from
the sea. In order to reach the lake, one
has to hike up then descend a steep hill, but for those
who prefer to stay on-board, the sceneries around
Coron Bay are awe-inspiring enough to impress any
nature lover. |
